What is a Sulaimani?

For those hearing this for the first time, well its just a lemon and gingery tea from the Malabar region of Kerala where my lineage originates from. But Mystic Thamburatti doesn’t do things just simple so let me take you on a delightful journey!

If you’ve seen Ustad Hotel with the legendary Thilakan and the charming duo – Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen, then you already know where my obsession with Sulaimani and Dulquer began. This isn’t just tea; it’s a spiced adventure in a cup! ☕✨

Sulaimani is essentially black tea, but not just any black tea. It’s infused with an array of spices like ginger, cardamom, and cloves—because why have plain tea when you can have a flavor explosion? And let’s not forget the zesty kick of lime that makes it the perfect remedy for those days when life feels a bit too… well, bland.

So, if you’re looking to elevate your tea game and embrace a little bit of sass in your sip, Sulaimani is your go-to! Who knew that a cup of tea could be so full of character? Cheers to that! 🍋💁‍♀️
